Pure water for window cleaners

A water-fed pole only works because of what is missing from the water. Tap water carries dissolved calcium and magnesium; brush it onto glass and as it evaporates those minerals stay behind as the spots and streaks you would otherwise have to squeegee off.

At zero TDS there is nothing left to dry on. You scrub, you rinse, you walk away, and the glass sheets off clean as it dries. That is what turns a two-man ladder job into one person on the ground.

It changes the economics more than most people expect. No ladders means no ladder insurance premium, no working at height on a wet morning, and conservatory roofs, high sashes and second-floor bay windows all become reachable from the pavement.

The catch is that the water has to actually be pure. Resin that has gone past its useful life lets minerals through gradually, and the first you know about it is a customer ringing about spotting on a row you did last week. Buying at zero TDS takes that failure mode off the table.
